February 2, 2026

As 2026 gets under way, I would like to thank those who continue to support my website. I had considered shuttering it on its anniversary this year; however, with the ever-expanding traffic it is receiving and associated sales of the book, I’ve decided to keep it going at least for another year.

Sadly, we are in the midst of a war with pedophiles and those seeking to exploit our nation’s young. Unfortunately, this appears to expand beyond our borders. Just look at what is happening in the UK with the alleged grooming gangs. When I launched my book, it was my hope that we were heading in a much different direction than we seem to be heading today. With the growth of social media in addition to nefarious websites, it seems we are losing this war on our young. Hopefully, the notoriety this topic is receiving today is a sign they are being exposed instead of the appearance that it is more rampant than ever.

We can never give up!

Fall 2021

It is nearing the end of October and the leaves have peaked and are now cascading down. My husband and I, along with our two dogs, Petey and Tigger, and our cat, Harry are settling down for a long winter cooped up in a tiny two bedroom apartment while our new home is being built.

I just wanted to say a quick hello to all my fellow survivors out there and remind them that there is much work to be done. The world is a crazy place and unfortunately, our children are at high risk for abuse. If you are being abused and have not sought help – please do so! If you suspect that someone is being abused, please report it. We have choices – period!

Thank you for checking out my site and stay safe!

Welcome To My Website

According to my counselor, this is the best paragraph in the book. She remarked there were many strong passages, but that this one in particular was her favorite.

"This plays into the theory that once a victim, the chance of being victimized again increases exponentially. I think it is because we don’t recognize when we are in a situation where we are vulnerable. Someone who grew up in a home where one was always vulnerable would be hard pressed to distinguish between a good situation and one in which they are at risk since the risk is ever present. And coyotes know this. In fact, many of them seek exactly that. They are opportunistic predators and who better to seek than one who is vulnerable and doesn’t even know it."
